Reopening of the Peyramale Bridge on March 5, 2026
Reconstruction work on the Peyramale bridge will begin on Monday, June 2, 2025. This will result in the bridge being closed and traffic restrictions being in place around the construction site. To facilitate access to the tourist area, a specific traffic plan has been developed.
● An explanatory booklet on traffic directions for light vehicles and access to the left and right banks of the Gave for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes is available in PDF format: Download the PDF version.
● Bus traffic plans have also been created. They are available in French, English, Spanish, and Italian. See below.
● Specific signage will be put in place from June 2nd to best guide buses.
